Sinfonietta Cracovia
We refreshed the brand identity and built a SUPER* website for the Royal Capital City of Kraków Orchestra Sinfonietta Cracovia, so they could proudly reach new audiences.
Project context
Sinfonietta Cracovia, as a renowned cultural institution with thirty years of history, struggled with a lack of adequate visibility and brand consistency in the city's public space. The organisation's website also needed a breath of fresh air — its previous version had a complicated navigation structure and long loading times. The poor user experience caused frustration for both administrators and end users — the audience and supporters.
As part of the collaboration, we designed a modern and functional website using a refreshed visual identity concept. We implemented the site using Webflow CMS's intuitive management system, which significantly simplified content management for the institution's staff and streamlined the concert ticket purchasing journey.

Projektowanie oparte na strategiiStrategy-driven design
We began the website project with 3-day discovery workshops, involving a 12-person team of brand ambassadors — management, administrative staff and artists. Such a comprehensive working group allowed for a complete understanding of the client's needs and challenges.
Through the workshops we identified the target audience, established the scope of the offer and the value proposition — the elements essential to a thoughtful website implementation. This helped build a solid foundation for further design decisions, enabling efficient and effective work going forward.
Since Orchestra staff also make up part of the user base, one of the tasks was to improve content management efficiency. The proposed migration from WordPress to Webflow CMS was well received by the team, and the addition of content with on-site SEO in mind had a positive impact on search rankings.

Analysis of the existing site's data showed that a significant portion of the audience and users were people over 40 years of age. When designing the new version of the site, we therefore paid particular attention to accessibility and content readability. Appropriate text size and hierarchy, along with contrast settings meeting WCAG standards, improved the user experience and contributed to better SEO rankings.
The website was designed to be defined by minimalism and simplicity. At the same time, the goal was to highlight the elegance that characterises a cultural institution and the dynamism and quality of its offer. In the website design we used elements of the new identity created as part of our branding work for Sinfonietta Cracovia — modern and elegant typography and a gradient that adjusts its shape and colour depending on the content presented in the layout.
Taking advantage of the capabilities that Webflow offers, we introduced custom solutions such as an interactive background that follows the user's cursor and a concert mode (dark mode), allowing users to switch to a dark colour palette and avoid the screen-brightening effect — for example when browsing the concert programme on a phone.

Project results
The new website attracted more than twice as many visitors in its inaugural season — the number of new users grew from 9,000 in the 2021/22 season to 19,500 in the 2022/23 season (according to Google Analytics data for the September–June period).
In addition, the consistent identity visible in the city's public spaces and social media channels helped build brand recognition, which translated into increased interest in the programme, ticket sales and new business partnerships.
